California Museum of Photography

August 3 - September 3, 2008

Opening Reception - Thursday, August 7, 2008, 6pm - 8pm

Youth Media Showcase celebrates the stories, images, and designs of a group of talented teens within the IE that use digital media arts to make their communities come alive. Each of the works exhibited was produced during 2007-08 through the Digital Studio at the UCR/California Museum of Photography. The projects showcased include colorful banners produced by teens in Guillermo Bejarano's Digital Workshop; photographs snapped by participants in the "How I See It" summer course at the Riverside Public Library, short videos and graphics designed by students in the "MyGlobalVillage" summer session and "Digital Stories" and personal narratives by students from Summit High School and Rainbow Pride Youth Alliance.
