Kodak Disc. The 1982 introduction of the Disc series of
cameras blends some old ideas with some new ones. Circular
films go back at least as far as the 1886 Grey vest camera
and the 1893 Photoret watch camera, but the Disc camera
introduced a number of new features: film speed is
automatically keyed in by the film disc; motor drive and
built-in strobe are powered by a permanent battery.
