The Chicago World's Fair was called the Century of Progress marking the 100 years of Chicago as a town. 3. The souvernir face plate, with 1833--1933, of the Fair Model was attached to only the No. 2 Special and was made of aluminum resulting in fading to various degrees over time. This model is faded but legible. 4. The name Brownie was never used with the Century of Progress camera, but because it essentially was a Brownie it has been adopted as a step-child. |
