** Introduced April or May of 1900. Have Xerox copy of Manual and
Patent for Camera, No. 725, 034, applied for July 25, 1900, granted
on April 14, 1903 to Frank A. Brownell, assignor to Eastman Kodak
Company.
Comments: The Case is a soft brown canvas, typically English.
The camera was bought in London; so, apparently the case was provided
after the camera arrived from the U.S. The Case has a clasp with
KODAK on it. U.S. Brownie cases are rigid boxes covered with leatherette
and have Brownie on the clasp. Brownie Camera (Improved Model) became
No. 1 Brownie (no Model I. D.) at the time or shortly after the
No. 2 Brownie was introduced in October 1901.
