| One of Will Connell's favorite personal projects
was his "swell photographs". Evolving
out of his penchant for old-fashioned portraiture, they parody
the cabinet photographers of the nineteenth century. By the
1930's they became Connell's trademark, evidencing his ability
to have fun with the medium. Connell chose his subjects from
among his family and large circle of esteemed
friends. |
