| In 1921 the newly organized All-Year Club of
Southern California began a campaign to promote the region
as a year-round tourist attraction. Idealized images of the
Southland were published throughout the country boosting the
beauty of the landscape, endless beaches, the glamour of Hollywood,
the sophistication of Los Angeles, and a booming economy.
Will Connell was a prominent All-Year Club photographer through
the 1930's. |
