People To look at the faces of those brave San Franciscans is to have a better understanding of what they had to go through. While their expressions are predominantly of strength and perseverance, you can also see sorrow, humor, determination and pride. I've never met a San Franciscan that isn't proud of where they came from and that same pride is evident in the faces of these earthquake survivors.
