Japan, hand-colored photographs, ca. 1880
New photographs of 19th Century Japan from the Samuel Jacobson Collection have been added to the server. This gift of 170 hand-colored albumen prints significantly augments the UCR/California Museum of Photography's collection of fine Japanese photographs. It is first being presented in digital image format, and will later be shown in the Museum galleries.
