
Felicia R. Beardsley is an archaeologist who has spent nearly fifteen years in the field leading projects throughout the western Pacific, Easter Island, and in the Pacific Northwest of the United States. Most recently she spent more than two years in the Palau Islands directing a variety of recovery projects and training field personnel. Dr. Beardsley was recently appointed Associate Research Anthropologist in the Anthropology Department at U.C. Riverside where she will be engaged in a variety of research projects in conjunction with the Center for Pacific Research. Dr. Beardsley earned her Ph.D. in anthropology at the University of Oregon in 1990.E. R. Beardsley is an artist and writer. He is also founding director of UCR CMP, a former UC Riverside faculty member and campus administrator. He works now chiefly with computers as the vehicle for his work. He has also written several essays on the digital revolution and the implications for art and society. He currently serves on the board of directors of Intangible Publications, a nonprofit organization devoted to the advancement of art, writing, and ideas on the World Wide Web and in print.
