The VR Library, ca. 1920

The Museum's Internet projects began in 1993 through a grant from Apple Computer's Apple Library of Tomorrow program. Just as Apple has seeded schools and libraries to encourage new learning experiences, the Keystone View Company in the 1920s explored "virtual reality" learning tools well before that term was coined.
