THE BIG PICTURE
Students from rooms eight and nine at Hoffer Elementary School created styled photos Macintosh computers. The pictures were created using Photoshop software to manipulate the photos. For the exhibit the students used PosterWorks software to enlarge the photos to 3 x 4 feet.
The students captured all the images through a digital camera, digitalizer, video camera, and a flatbed scanner. Using vintage Banning photos from their third grade Banning History Book, the students worked cooperatively to incorporate the present with the past.
