Family, friends, and neighbors hold a two day car wash for Shad Short, killed in an auto accident at 3:30 a.m. on mother's day. The group raised more than $2,200 of the expected $3,000 funeral expenses on the first day alone and plans were being made to gift wrap the total sum and present it to Shad's mother. "The funeral's going to be Thursday or Friday," said a participant. "Since it was a drunk driver, there's got to be an autopsy."
