Licensing Information
Publication Rights UCR/California Museum of Photography (UCR/CMP) is a department within the College of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences at the University of California, Riverside. UCR/CMP reserves all copyrights and administers usage for reproductions from Sweeney/Rubin Ansel Adams Fiat Lux Collection. In addition, UCR/CMP claims limited rights and administers the usage of imagery from its other online collections, including: Keystone Mast Collection, Will Connell Collection, Harry Pidgeon Collection, Olindo Ceccarini Collection, Osvald Siren Collection, Edwin and Carolyn Gledhill Collection, George Faitzer Feroff Collection, and the Bingham Technology Collection. All requests for permission to publish reproductions must be submitted in writing to the Curator of Museum Collections. All rights to some of UCR/CMP collections have not been transferred to the museum. Consequently, the permission for publication is typically given on behalf of UCR/CMP as the owner of the physical items and is not intended to include or imply permission of the copyright holder. When necessary, it is the responsibility of the requester to obtain permission from the owner. FEES UCR/CMP charges a license fee for the use of images from the collections. The type of use determines the fees. |
